Leaving the Shanghai Natural History Museum, we stepped out to the beautiful park just beside it.

At that time, we didn’t know about the Jing’an Sculpture Park but was attracted to the blooming sea of tulips!

Spring is Coming – Tulips Blooming!

Locally, we would have to pay to see Tulips in Gardens By The Bay (Annual “Tulipmania”), but there they were on the ground right in front of us, looking pretty in the cool air. Tulips are my favourite flowers so we had a great time strolling too and taking pretty pictures.

A red one in the middle of pinkish tulips. Did they purposely or accidentally planted wrongly? ^_^

There are various sculptural artworks in Jing’an Sculpture park. Some artworks are not permanent and would change throughout the year to make room for the work of international artists.

Plum Blossoms

Walking further, we entered a garden with plum blossoms and a narrow walkway on water. I love the pinkish flowers and kept taking photographs.

As we were in a rush for our next museum visit to Shanghai Museum, we didn’t have the luxury to stroll slowly. It was such a nice place to explore and relax.

Do make a note to go the Jing’an Sculpture Park in Shanghai around March (Spring Season) for a photography session and enjoy a leisure stroll or picnic!
